Back after a break.

I've been setting up a blog for my bro and have landed back in blogland for the first time in a while. Probably nothing much I need to say but what the hey - that's never bleedin' stopped me before and it ain't going to now!

Er...sailing. I've been sailing for the first time in ages - about 15 years to be precise. And there's going to be be more!! I'm crewing in the Round The Island Race (Isle of Wight) in just under a month and then spending most of July sailing from the UK to the Med. Happy days!!

Cycling's also on the agenda - hopefully. I've been doing loads recently and decided to ride coast to coast along the same line of latitude as my hometown (Basingstoke). Actually I'm not - the start and end point are on the same latitude and I'm passing through 'Stokey en route. 230 miles of butt bashing stupidity!! All for a good cause mind, as I'm getting sponsored to do it. Well, that's the idea.

Been off my meds again - not for long this time but long enough to have suffered for being such a dick. I really need a routine but I'm just not a routine kind of guy I suppose. Boo me!!

You know it's sad bud true...

So how did I see my birthday in? Hunched over my shiny new netbook trying to get it to see the WiFi hotspot I had running on my phone!! Had some limited success but am steadfastly leaving all geek action until after my birthday.
Got my first present this morning. A fresh, steaming poo, courtesy of Millie/Milly (how bad that I don't even know how to spell my dog's name).
Off to the Three Horseshoes for a birthday luncheon with chums from work and then, tonight, heading to Bang Bar for a joint, if slightly ad hoc, birthday party with Kat. Tomorrow is going to be a splendid day of laziness. Sarah and I are seeing the kids off to school and then mooching off for a day of cafes, pubs and general ease. Can't wait!
